Lake Travis ISD will increase teacher and librarian starting pay for the upcoming school year after the LTISD board of trustees approved the 2023-24 compensation plan at a July 19 meeting.

The starting salary for teachers and librarians for the 2023-24 school year will be $56,000 for those with bachelor's degrees and $57,230 for those with graduate degrees, according to district documents.
An additional $3,000, a 5.66% increase, has been added to the base starting salary for both teachers and librarians compared to the 2022-23 starting salaries for those positions.
