Grocery store chains in the Lake Travis-Westlake area have been working diligently to continue providing services for the community during concern surrounding COVID-19. From purchase limitations to seniors-only shopping hours, businesses have adjusted their operating procedures to better serve residents.
H-E-B released a statement March 13 confirming stores will continue to stay open and urging customers to stay calm.
“H-E-B has been preparing for coronavirus for several months and we are in a strong position to keep replenishing our shelves,” the news release said. “We have the ability to restock shelves and encourage our customers to remain calm.”
