Vik Medical expands services to include emergency room, concierge care

“We didn’t know what to expect when we opened [Vik Medical Concierge] because this was the first time we had really ventured to try something like this,” Connell said. “Most of our patients were existing clients we had been serving in other ways, but we are growing.”

The appointment-based service focuses on seeing patients on time and giving one-on-one attention to clients in an unrushed environment, she said.

What’s next

Connell said there is room to almost quadruple the concierge service’s clientele, and services such as hormone-replacement therapy may also be expanded.
