Hat Creek Burger Co. set for Lakeway opening

Hat Creek Burger Co., which has a flagship location in West Lake Hills, announced last February it would open its fifth location in the Oaks at Lakeway.

“We are super excited about the Lakeway Hat Creek,” CEO Drew Gressett said. “We think Lakeway is the perfect community for Hat Creek Burger Co. given its large family population, which fits the Hat Creek fast-casual, family-friendly burger patio.”

Hat Creek serves hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, breakfast foods, milkshakes and beers, which are brewed at its Westlake facility.

“We hoped to be open in the fall, but with construction that did get pushed back,” said Tara Grayless, Hat Creek Burger Co.’s marketing and branding coordinator.

“We’ve ordered our chairs recently and things are happening here, so everything should be ready to go in March.”

What’s next

Grayless said all Hat Creek Burger Co. restaurants are built from the ground up, making each location unique. However, like all other locations, Lakeway’s concept will still be based on Hat Creek’s barnhouse theme, she said.
