Alternative water supplier FreiWater has opened for business in Bee Cave.
Through harvesting and storing air conditioner condensate, the company produces pH-balanced, clean and clear distilled water for irrigation or potable use.
What’s special about it?
“Currently residential building codes require that this water be drained to the sewer and wasted,” owner Duane Gilder said. “We think that is a travesty for us at a time when everyone could benefit from having potable water stored and consistently produced.”
