Papa Murphy’s
Papa Murphy's Take N' Bake Pizza along RM 620 in Lakeway is closed. A sign posted on the door states that the location is permanently closed and reads, "Thank you for all the years of support." In July, the restaurant's parent company, MTY Group, announced that up to 50 Papa Murphy's locations across the country would be shuttered due to financial losses.
Whataburger
The fast-food chain’s first fully digital Whataburger location recently closed. The restaurant opened without a traditional seating area or drive-thru, opting to have customers order online and pick up their food from exterior lockers.
