Eat the Film: “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
As part of Hotel Viata’s ongoing film series, the hotel will provide a dining experience featuring flavors inspired by scenes from “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The event will feature chocolate-inspired sweets and colorful confections for guests of all ages to enjoy as they watch the movie.

Cool Arts Show & Sale
Guests can browse a collection of original artwork from Lakeway-area artists, including paintings, jewelry, pottery and more. The event at the Lakeway Activity Center will also feature live music and a variety of children’s activities.
The Front Festival
The festival highlights independent music, film and art, with a focus on women and LGBTQ+ artists. The event begins and ends with swim nights at The LINE Austin, while the music night will take place at Swan Dive and the film night at The Contemporary Austin.
Westlake Chaps Cheer Spirit Clinic
Westlake Chaps Cheer will host a clinic to teach sideline cheers, dances and stunts. Participants, for grades K-5, will then get a chance to perform at a Westlake High School football game at Chaparral Stadium.

Bee Cave Artisan Market
The Bee Cave Artisan Market is held at the Central Plaza Lawn at Hill Country Galleria. The event features local artisans, food and drink vendors.
Barton Fest
Barton Fest at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa will feature live music, artisan vendors and gourmet bites during Labor Day weekend.
Pecan Street Festival
The annual festival will return this September to the Hill Country Galleria, featuring a weekend of live music, local vendors, artists, food and activities for both children and adults.
Shred and Recycle
LT Senior Services will host a shred and recycle event at Lakeway Aquatic Physical Therapy. Individuals and businesses may bring papers to shred as well as hard-to-recycle items, including plastic bags, batteries, empty ink cartridges, styrofoam, paint and household chemicals.
“Boeing Boeing”
TexARTS Theatre and Academy will present “Boeing Boeing.” The comedy, by French playwright Marc Camoletti, follows a bachelor and three flight attendants all engaged to him without knowing about each other.
Austin Zoo Revue
The annual gala is the Austin Zoo’s largest fundraiser. The event will have food catered by Gourmet Gals Catering & Events, a signature cocktail by Dripping Springs Distilling, a silent auction and a live auction.

The Zeppelin Project
Spicewood Arts will host a concert with a Led Zeppelin tribute band at Spicewood Vineyards. The Zeppelin Project performs accurate versions of the band’s studio recordings as well as classic live versions. The concert is a pre-season kickoff to the nonprofit organization’s upcoming series of concerts and events.
