Updated Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.  Lone Star College System officials announced via Facebook Friday afternoon that all properties would remain closed through the weekend. Individuals are asked to avoid campuses unless helping with cleanup efforts. However, those who have vehicles on an LSC property can call 281-290-5911 for assistance, officials said. Classes will resume Monday, Sept. 23.
Updated 6:15 p.m. Lone Star College System announced via Facebook on Thursday afternoon that all of its campuses will remain closed on Friday, Sept. 20, due to inclement weather. According to officials, all campuses will return to normal schedule on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Originally published 9:26 a.m. Due to inclement weather from Tropical Depression Imelda, several Lone Star College System satellite campuses are closed Thursday, Sept. 19, such as LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Atascocita, LSC-EMCID in New Caney, LSC-Process Technology Center in Houston, LSC-Conroe Center and LSC-Montgomery in The Woodlands.
