Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Keller relocated in October to Keller Town Center.
The gist
The outpatient therapy office moved into the former Petco space from its previous location at 460 Keller Parkway, Ste. A.
Keller City Council approved the move with a specific use permit during its May 19 meeting following a 3-3 deadlock in April, according to previous reporting.
The primary services include physical therapy examinations and individualized treatment, therapeutic exercise, functional training, return-to-sport programs, performance-based rehabilitation, injury-prevention education, patient consultations and follow-up visits, according to city documents.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the Keller community at our new location,” clinic staff said in an issued statement.
The background
At the May 19 meeting, the Brandie Owen, regional director for Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation, said Baylor Scott & White has been operating in Keller for 15 years and recorded more than 8,300 visits at the location in 2025, a 16% increase compared with 2024.
She said there is a consistent waiting list, currently about two weeks long, and that many patients are referred to Baylor Scott & White locations in Fort Worth or Southlake.
The first occupant of the space was Cook Children’s Pediatrics in 2000. The space became Unleashed by Petco in 2013 and was rebranded as Petco in 2016. Petco closed in Jan. 25, 2025, according to previous reporting.
