Why are you running for office?
Keller has been our home for over 17 years. We purposely sought out Keller for our family for all the reasons: family focused, small-town charm with big-city amenities, great schools, open space and safety. I have worked hard to preserve these and will continue if re-elected.
What are the biggest challenges facing Keller?
Sustaining our financial and fiscal strength while keeping taxes low and government small, keeping our schools excellent in the face of significant challenges to success, maintaining low residential density while expanding economic development, resisting urbanization and keeping our city safe.
How do you plan to address these issues?
I [will] address them diligently with common sense approaches to planning, development, spending, ordinances and management undergirded by a passion for truth. Giving residents facts in this tidal flow of information and opinion. Keller citizens recognize wisdom, truth, sound principles and transparency. I trust them as their representative.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
Staying the course with a strong, effective council and mayor. Together, we lowered tax rates and maximized [the] homestead exemption every year I have served. We achieved the highest financial rating and realized visions for a world-class senior center, sports park, parks and trails while attracting quality restaurants, entertainment and businesses.
Why are you running for office?
I’m running for office because service is a core value of mine. Keller is at a pivotal moment, and we have the opportunity to become the most desirable city in Texas while preserving our small-town feel. It's time for fresh leadership that prioritizes communication, unity and long-term success.
What are the biggest challenges facing Keller?
While we know what we don’t want in our city, it's crucial to be clear and intentional about what we do want for our community’s future. Keller faces rapid growth, balancing development with its small-town feel, traffic congestion and infrastructure needs.
How do you plan to address these issues?
We must prioritize respectful relationships with city partners – churches, businesses, builders and government agencies – improve infrastructure and ensure development aligns with Keller’s small-town values. Through clear communication, collaboration and community input, we can create a sustainable plan that meets our needs while preserving our quality of life
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
My priorities are to help our community thrive while staying mindful of challenges in Keller and surrounding cities. I aim to strengthen city relationships and represent us with high-quality leadership, ensuring thoughtful growth and wise decision making for our future.
