Pho King Way returned to Texas and opened in north Fort Worth at the end of August, owner Alex Le said.
The details
The Vietnamese restaurant’s menu features egg rolls, lettuce wraps, spring rolls, fried wontons, Phở Bò, noodle soups and fried rice dishes with chicken, beef, shrimp, Chinese sausage or the cơm chiên King Way, which has shrimp, squid, fried and steamed fish, beef, chicken and Chinese sausage.
Another menu item is the Royal Bowl You Way, which feature eye round steak, brisket, fatty brisket, tendon, tripe and beef meatballs.
Drinks offered include salted plum and lemon soda, Thai iced tea, jasmine iced tea, iced or hot French coffee with condensed milk, along with traditional sodas such as Pepsi, Sprite and Dr. Pepper.
The backstory
Le said he previously operated a Vietnamese restaurant by the same name in Keller from 2009-11 at 721 Keller Parkway, Ste. 116. After the business closed, he focused on the locations in Mission Viejo and Aliso Viejo, California.
Le said that Texans 15 years ago didn’t know what pho and other Vietnamese dishes were and people would ask where the orange chicken was on the menu.
He added that he is there 15 hours a day helping staff and he will talk with customers if they are unhappy with their meal. Le said he wants people to enjoy his culture’s food and will suggest different options if a customer’s choice doesn’t hit the mark.
What else?
Pho King Way moved into the spot that Tabla Indian Restaurant most recently occupied. That restaurant closed in early 2026, according to previous reporting.
