Texas-based grocery store chain H-E-B announced plans Oct. 26 to construct a grocery store in the Alliance area of Fort Worth.
The Alliance location is sixth announced location for H-E-B within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and the second in Tarrant County, joining the previously announced store in Mansfield. A groundbreaking ceremony is slated to be held on Nov. 16 at the proposed location on the northwest corner of Heritage Trace Parkway and North Riverside Drive.
The store, which will be on the northern edge of Fort Worth, "builds on the company’s longstanding presence in the area and reinforces its commitment to serve more customers in this dynamic and growing part of Texas,” according to a news release.
H-E-B opened its first store Frisco in September and the Plano location is scheduled to open Nov. 2. H-E-B also operates two Central Market locations in Tarrant County in Southlake and Fort Worth.
