D1 Training will bring an athletic training facility to Roanoke off US 377.

The details

Renovations costing $388,400 will be made to an existing one story building to retrofit it for the gym. Construction on the 3,884 square-foot space is anticipated to begin June 1 and wrap up on Aug. 1.

The training facility will offer sessions for personal, small groups with 2-4 people and classes for large groups, according to its website.

D1 Training also has programs for youth ages 7 and up, per its website.
