Art Wheel Studio Art School rebrands in Roanoke, continues traditional fine arts training

The studio offers courses in watercolor, oil, gouache, sculpture, charcoal and pastel, and students have the opportunity to enter in local, national and international competitions.

Founder Liliana Nedzelska began teaching art in 2004 from her home in Keller before expanding into after-school programs and library instruction.

She later launched Art Wheel Studio in Roanoke in 2015 with her son, Stanislav Nedzelsky, according to previous reporting.

Nedzelska, a Ukrainian native with a master’s degree in fine arts education, developed the curriculum based on classical European training and has said art education helps build concentration, patience and critical thinking skills.

The duo both teach classes, with Nedzelsky overseeing administrative operations and Nedzelska focusing on instruction.

The studio has expanded to a Frisco location, as well.
