The 2026 FIFA World Cup commenced with Mexico winning the first of the 104 World Cup games June 11. The first game at Dallas Stadium was June 14, with the Netherlands playing Japan.
For soccer fans in Fort Worth, there are a few places hosting watch parties throughout the city, including a couple in north Fort Worth. This list is not comprehensive.
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games
The entertainment venue will be showing FIFA games throughout the tournament. In addition, there will be match-day menus with exclusive food and beverage offerings available only during the games, according to a social media post. Andretti will offer discounted race packages during the World Cup, as well.
Sports City TavernaThe sports bar, co-owned by former NBA player Joel Bolomboy, is showing FIFA games throughout the tournament. The restaurant is having happy hour specials throughout the day with the varied FIFA start times, as well as lunch specials Monday-Friday until 3 p.m.
Billy Bob’s TexasThe honky tonk music venue, located in the Fort Worth Stockyards, is hosting a fan experience with daily matches and is offering line-dancing lessons twice daily and live music every afternoon.
Blue Flag DistilleryThe company will host a watch party at The Vault, an event space within the distillery. The business will show the games on big screen televisions while serving its house-made whiskey and gin. There will be room for 500 guests, and a rotating lineup of food trucks is planned.
Fort Worth StockyardsThe fan zone within the Fort Worth Stockyards will hold watch parties on Fridays and Saturdays. Every Sunday will be Domingos de Fiesta, a celebration of the international spirit of the World Cup with live music, food and drinks, according to the Stockyards' website. There will be daily live music, comedy shows and twice-a-day cattle drives.
Sundance SquareLocated in downtown Fort Worth, Sundance Square will show all of the matches on two 24-by-15-foot screens. There will be rotating food trucks, bars, live music, public art displays and family-friendly activities, according to a news release. On May 23, more than two dozen giant, hand-painted soccer balls were installed for the event.
Truck Yard AllianceA Big Cup Pop-Up and watch party will be held during the World Cup. The dog-friendly entertainment venue will have live music, food trucks, photo opportunities and themed drinks during the games, according to its website. No tickets are required, but entry after 9 p.m. is for guests 21 years old and older.
