NASCAR will bring a trio of races to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth this weekend, starting with the Truck Series race May 1. The 1.5-mile track will host the NASCAR races for the 29th year.
Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg, the 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year, will drive the pace car. Tom Araya from the metal band Slayer will be the Grand Marshal during the WÜRTH 400 NASCAR Cup Series race May 3.

1. Meet NASCAR drivers Harrison Burton and Jeb Burton
NASCAR drivers Harrison Burton and Jeb Burton, along with Justin Martin from Duck Dynasty, will be at Academy Sports + Outdoors in Keller.
Drivers will be on site for a meet-and-greet starting at 11 a.m. and The Academy x Pit Boss No. 24 Toyota Supra car will be there, as well. Free barbecue samples from Pit Boss Grills Pit Masters will also be available.
2. Meet NASCAR driver Ryan PreeceThe annual NASCAR Block Party will feature samples, giveaways and health screenings. NASCAR driver Ryan Preece, who drives the No. 60 car for RFK Racing, will be signing autographs from 4-5 p.m. His Kroger-sponsored car will also be there. Additional events include the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile and blood donations for Carter BloodCare.
3. Meet NASCAR driver Joey LoganoLast year’s WÜRTH 400 winner will meet with fans at Discount Tire in Haslet. His No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang will be on display, as well. Autographs are limited to two per person and wristbands will be handed out to the first 150 guests.
4. Sea Lion SplashSea Lion Encounter will blend education, natural behaviors and comedy throughout the weekend with multiple shows each day of race weekend.
5. Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Live AuctionOne of the yearly fundraisers for the nonprofit includes prizes such as a hauler tour with Richard Childress, the owner of Richard Childress Racing, an autographed NASCAR 75th anniversary helmet, a VIP Victory Lane experience, NASCAR pit passes, garage passes and autographed sheet metal. Race weekend is the largest single fundraiser of the year for the nonprofit, according to previous reporting.
6. SpeedyCash.com 250The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race will start the weekend triple header. Cup Series driver Kyle Busch holds the Texas Motor Speedway record for most NASCAR national series wins with 20 and is tied for first with six Truck Series wins. Toni Breidinger, the first Arab-American woman to compete in NASCAR, will make her first Truck Series start of the season at the track. Actor-turned-driver Frankie Muniz is in the field as well, driving No. 33 for Team Reaume. Cup Series drivers Ross Chastain and Carson Hocevar will also be in the field.
7. Panini breaker eventTrading card company Panini will do a live breaking event at the Cracker Barrel stage outside of Texas Motor Speedway. The 2026 Donruss racing cards will be unveiled and NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Rajah Caruth will be there, as well.
8. Andy’s Frozen Custard 340Three full-time NASCAR Cup Series drivers will race in this Xfinity Series event: Kyle Larson, Austin Dillon and Connor Zilch. This will be Dillon’s first race at TMS in the Xfinity Series since 2017.
9. Meet NASCAR driver Chase BriscoeNASCAR driver Chase Briscoe will sign autographs for 150 fans and have photo opportunities at Bass Pro Shops. Registration for autographs opens at 9 a.m. Briscoe drives the No. 19 car for Joe Gibbs Racing.
10. Dryden Stockyards StampedeDirt track racing at Texas Motor Speedway will be the second race of the day May 2. Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing will showcase the winged sprint cars. Cup Series driver Kyle Larson is expected to race in this event.
11. Chris Janson ConcertSponsored by Crav’n Flavors, the country artist will perform before driver introductions. Janson also is a songwriter who has worked with Tim McGraw, LoCash and Hank Williams Jr.
12. AutographsTwo NASCAR drivers will be signing autographs at various locations on the final day of race weekend. Chastain, who drives the No. 1 car for Trackhouse Racing, will sign from 10:15-11 a.m. at the TxDOT display. From 11-11:20 a.m., Briscoe will sign autographs at the Toyota Racing Experience. 13. WÜRTH 400The NASCAR Cup Series makes its second stop in Texas this year when the series comes to Fort Worth and Texas Motor Speedway. Don Graves, a 101-year-old World War II veteran from Fort Worth, will sing the national anthem. The race will be broadcast on FS1.
