A new McDonald's is scheduled to break ground at the Katy Park retail development this summer.

Officials with public relations company CKP Group confirmed the Morton Ranch location of McDonald's at the shopping center, which is anchored by grocer H-E-B.
At this time, there is no confirmed estimated completion date for the fast-food hamburger restaurant, but construction will tentatively break ground in July, officials wrote in an email.
