Looking for new restaurants to try in the Katy and Fulshear area? Here are four eateries opening soon near you, as recently reported by Community Impact.
Pastel Pizza will open a second permanent Katy location this spring, co-owner Rosa Revilla said. The eatery sells an Americanized version of traditional Venezuelan street food, called pastelitos. Pastelitos are puff pastries filled with ground beef, chicken or queso fresco, but the owners use pizza ingredients, such as pepperoni and mozzarella cheese, for some of their products.
A second Culver’s location is coming to the Katy area. The franchise has over 1,000 locations in 26 states, including a location at 6677 Flewellen Way, Fulshear, that opened in August 2022. The menu features sandwiches, chicken entrees, cheese curds, its signature butterburgers, and frozen custard with various mix-ins and toppings, according to its website.
New Caney-based restaurant Airi Ramen and Sushi opened one location in Katy on Morton Ranch Road this March and plans to open another in the Jordan Ranch community by the summer. The Asian restaurant serves Japanese-style ramen, sushi, poke bowls, bao and some Chinese food, owner Leo Cai said in an email. All bases for the ramen as well as the noodles are made from scratch by the restaurant’s staff.
