Katy Gymnastics and Sports Performance relocates to new facility

A local Katy multisport gym will relocate to a new facility on Mason Road in early fall.

Katy Gymnastics and Sports Performance will host a grand opening for its new facility in early October, although the first classes began at the end of September, coach Kim Rodriguez said.

KGSP offers gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, pole vault, basketball and volleyball.

What to expect

According to the gym's Facebook page, some of the features of the new space include:

• A private preschool area
• An upstairs viewing area
• Basketball and vollleyball courts
• Two large floors
• Two trampolines
• A longer tumble track, a rod floor and an indoor pole vault

Rodriguez said the former gym, located at 22570 Franz Road, Katy, will close.
