Best Stop Cajun Market held a soft opening for its combination specialty grocery store and Creole restaurant on Dec. 12, according to officials with the restaurant.

Community Impact first reported on the Louisiana-based eatery and meats shop coming to Katy in January 2023. It was originally anticipated to open in spring 2023.
Now, the owners are planning for a grand opening in April, they said.
On the menu
Best Stop Cajun Market's deli features biscuit boudin breakfast sandwiches as well as po boys and hamburgers. Side options include red beans and rice and onion rings.
On the grocery side, the market sells a variety of seasoned meats, including steak, stuffed duck, an array of sausages, crawfish tails and crawfish boudin.
