UPDATE: Organizers have indicated that the Farmers Market may be moving to a new location in downtown Katy in the near future. The Katy Farmers Market at Faith West Academy held its first market Aug. 25 at 24325 Katex Blvd., Katy. The market hopes to use proceeds to promote community education and growth. Market space is free for vendors, though donations are welcome. The market is held each Saturday from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Vendors may contact organizers via the market’s website. www.katyfarmersmarket.org
