Two lanes of concrete road will be constructed on Cane Island Parkway between Willow Fork and FM 1463 as well as a new concrete bridge and channel improvements. The nearly $9 million project managed by Fort Bend County was nearly 40 percent complete by the end of 2017. Bridge beams were set, and crews were working on the FM 1463 intersection in early January. Timeline: summer 2017-May 2018
