Katy and Fulshear residents have one final chance May 26 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to weigh in on several county, state and federal races in the primary runoff election.
Where to vote
Fort Bend County registered voters can cast their ballot at any of the 67 locations countywide on election day, while Harris County voters can choose any of 164 locations countywide, according to the counties' respective websites.
However, Waller County voters are required to vote at their assigned voter precinct locations on election day, per its election's website.
On the ballot
Texas’ runoff elections, like primaries, are separated by political party. This means voters who participated in this year’s Republican primary are only allowed to vote in the Republican runoff, and those who voted in the Democratic primary can only vote in the Democratic runoff.
Individuals who did not vote in the March primaries or participate in a third-party nominating convention are eligible to vote in either party’s runoff.

There are also several state races in the runoff, including the Texas attorney general for both Democratic and Republican parties, and the Democratic Texas lieutenant governor position.
