Rivian, an all-electric automaker, is expanding to Katy this year.

The Katy site will house a service center aimed at providing customers with in-depth electric vehicle maintenance, which can be scheduled through the company’s app, Rivian Corporate Communications Manager Fallon Gates said in an email. Rivian also offers mobile vehicle maintenance.
The center will also offer demo drives, allowing patrons to learn more about the company’s vehicles and software, Gates said.
