Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse will open its second Greater Houston location in Katy, General Manager Guilherme Da Silva confirmed.
The new location will join the brand’s Galleria area which opened in 2011.
Main course
The restaurant centers on a “traditional, tableside service” of carving open-flame grilled meat including unlimited servings of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage right in front of customers, Da Silva said.
The eatery also offers unlimited servings of side dishes including caramelized bananas, garlic mashed potatoes, fried polenta and a Brazilian cheese bread.
Beyond tableside service, Chama Gaúcha also features a salad bar with over 30 items including cheeses and charcuterie.
Also of note
The Katy location will also feature five private dining rooms accommodating groups from 20 to 150, per the release.
In their own words
“We’ve welcomed many guests from Katy at our Westheimer location for so long that opening here has always been part of our vision,” Da Silva said. “We’re excited to finally bring the Chama Gaúcha experience closer to home for those loyal guests while introducing our authentic Brazilian hospitality to those who live and work in the area.”
