As construction continues on Hwy. 249 in Tomball, drivers should note these lane closures, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

• One northbound frontage lane is closed between Brown Road and the Spring Creek bridge in Tomball from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily from Monday, Sept. 25, to Friday, Sept. 29.


• The northbound frontage road is closed at Hicks Road from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily from Monday, Sept. 25, to Wednesday, Sept. 27. To detour, drivers can follow Hicks Road to Quinn Road, turn left on Brown Road and continue left onto Hwy. 249.
