Magnolia ISD campuses and offices will be closed through the end of the week, Feb. 19, the district announced in an email and social media update Feb. 17.
The district said there will be no grading or attendance consequences for students due to the severity of the winter storm.

Magnolia ISD students will continue with remote learning Feb. 17 as district facilities continue to be closed amid winter weather and hazardous road conditions, the district announced in a Twitter post Feb. 16.
As much of the district is without power and internet access, paper packet assignments and learning activities were sent home with students Feb. 12, the district said. Attendance will be verified via completed assignments when school resumes, according to the statement.

Magnolia ISD officials have announced that school facilities and campuses will be closed Feb. 16 due to inclement weather, according to a Feb. 12 news announcement. Students and staff will resume classes virtually that day instead.
The closure comes as the area's expects dangerous road conditions and inclement weather early next week.
The district's COVID-19 testing site will also be closed, and curbside meals have been canceled.Due to the inclement weather forecasted, Magnolia ISD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 16. District schools and facilities will be closed Feb. 15 in observance of the Presidents' Day holiday. In-person instruction is expected to resume Feb. 17.
