1. FM 1488 west widening

Project: The project will widen FM 1488 on the west side of Magnolia from the Waller County line near Joseph Road to FM 1774.

Update: The project is 74% complete, as of a Jan. 2 update from TxDOT.

2. FM 1488 east widening


Project: The project will widen FM 1488 from two lanes to four lanes with a continuous left-turn lane between FM 1774 in Magnolia and west of FM 149.

Update: The project is 36% complete, as of a Jan. 2 update from TxDOT.

3. FM 1488 median

Project: This project will add a raised median along FM 1488 east of Magnolia. Crews will construct a raised median along FM 1488 from Mostyn Drive in Magnolia to I-45.
