Harris County Precinct 3 is putting down concrete as work continues to reconstruct the two-lane Holderrieth Road in Tomball between Hwy. 249 and just west of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road, spanning 1.8 miles. The road is being widened to a four-lane concrete boulevard with drainage improvements.

The $27.1 million project, which began in March, is on track for wrapping up in the second quarter of 2024, according to Precinct 3 officials.

Funded by the Texas General Land Office and Precinct 3, the project is slated to improve water capacity, safety, pedestrian mobility and transportation congestion, per Precinct 3 information.
