Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley announced a temporary closure of Nichols Sawmill Road near Butera Road beginning at 6 a.m. July 12.
Crews will be replacing a cross pipe, according to a post on Riley's Precinct 2 Facebook page.
Northbound drivers can detour around the closure by turning right on Butera Road, left on Sea Turtle Lane, left on Winding Creek Lane and right on Nichols Sawmill Road. Southbound drivers can take Nichols Sawmill Road to turn left onto Winding Creek Lane, right onto Sea Turtle Lane, right onto Butera Road and left onto Nichols Sawmill Road. Drivers will still be able to access Dollar General nearby the closure area.
