In mid-April,
Harris County Precinct 3 officials began maintenance work on the
first bridges in a series of three bridge improvement packages totaling $1 million funded by Precinct 3 that will cover 47 bridges across the Cypress, Spring, Humble and Crosby areas, per an April 11 news release. Precinct 3 Communications Manager Jeannie Peng said 21 bridges are included in Package 1, which were awarded by Harris County Commissioners Court and should be under construction by late 2023.
The Hufsmith-Kohrville Road bridge over Willow Creek is included in Package 1, although construction had not started as of publication.
