Two Northpointe Boulevard projects are in a study phase, according to Harris County Precinct 4. The first project will extend the road as a four-lane boulevard from Grant Road to Shaw Road. The second project will improve drainage and add traffic signals as needed.

The study for the extension will be completed by the fourth quarter of 2022, while the study for the improvement project will be completed by the summer, Precinct 4 officials said. Because of redistricting efforts changing commissioner precinct lines, the two projects will be split between precincts 3 and 4, according to Precinct 4 officials.
