Construction bids delayed on Burroughs Park access road improvements

Harris County Precinct 4 is working to add an access road and traffic signal into Burroughs Park from Hufsmith Road.

This Harris County Precinct 4 project will add a secondary access road and traffic signal into Burroughs Park from Hufsmith Road as well as widen Hufsmith Road between the park and Lakes at Creekside Drive to a three-lane asphalt pavement section. New engineering standards caused a delay in seeking construction bids from the second quarter of 2019 to the third quarter of 2019, Precinct 4 officials said.
