James Construction Group is constructing a $23.3 million railroad overpass, providing a direct route for drivers on FM 1774 over the Union Pacific Railroad in Magnolia. The TxDOT-funded project extends from FM 1486 to just north of FM 1488 and was 79 percent complete as of early October. Estimated timeline: December 2016-third quarter 2019 3. The first phase of Harris County Precinct 4’s project extends Holderrieth Road in Tomball from Hwy. 249 west to Calvert Road as a four-lane concrete pavement section.
