Here are five lane closures to know for Tomball and Magnolia area drivers this week, Sept. 9-13, according to the Houston TranStar
database and the Texas Department of Transportation.
Hwy. 249
- One alternate lane of the northbound frontage road from FM 2920 to Spring Creek in Tomball is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 to Friday, Sept. 13.
- One alternate lane of the southbound frontage road from Spring Creek in Tomball to FM 2920 is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 to Friday, Sept. 13.
- One alternate lane of the northbound and southbound frontage road at Cypresswood Drive is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 to Wednesday, Sept. 11.
FM 2920
- One alternate lane eastbound and westbound from the Grand Parkway to Falvel Road is closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 to Friday, Sept. 13.
FM 1774
- One alternate lane eastbound and westbound from FM 1488 to Mill Creek Drive in Magnolia is closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 to Friday, Sept. 13.
