The Texas Department of Transportation and Houston TranStar
database have announced several lane closures affecting drivers in the Tomball and Magnolia areas this week.
Hwy. 249
- One inside lane of the northbound frontage road between Patridge Circle Road and Woodtrace Boulevard is closed Monday, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- One outside lane of the southbound frontage road between Coe Road and Woodtrace Boulevard is closed Monday, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- One alternate lane of the northbound frontage road between FM 2920 and Spring Creek is closed daily 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, to Friday, Aug. 30.
- One alternate lane of the southbound frontage road between Spring Creek and FM 2920 is closed daily 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, to Friday, Aug. 30.
- One alternate lane of the north and southbound frontage roads at Cypresswood Drive is closed daily 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Additionally, traffic signals will become operational at Woodtrace Boulevard and Hwy. 249 beginning Tuesday, Aug. 27, Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley announced Aug. 25.
FM 2920
- One alternate lane of FM 2920 eastbound and westbound between North Willow Street and the Grand Parkway is closed nightly 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Aug. 30.
- One inside lane westbound between Snook Lane and North Willow Street is closed Monday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
