The Jerry Matheson public pool, located at 1240 Ulrich Road, Tomball, opened for the summer June 3 after being delayed from late May due to maintenance issues, according to Communications Coordinator Rebecca Beahan.

According to the city of Tomball's parks and recreation website, the pool hours are:

• Tue.-Fri. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.


• Sat.-Sun. noon-8 p.m.

The pool will be closed on Mondays for cleaning except for Labor Day on Sept. 5.

Guests of all ages can visit the pool at no cost; however, children younger than 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years old, according to the city's website.
