Founder and President Holly Dool is celebrating 10 years of CAMO Rescue, she confirmed via phone.

CAMO Rescue is located in Magnolia and rescues around 1,100-1,200 dogs a year, Dool said, and these dogs are available for adoption or for fostering.

To celebrate its milestone anniversary, CAMO Rescue is hosting its 4th annual Puptoberfest and 10-year anniversary celebration from noon-4 p.m. on Oct. 27. Dool said there will be face painting for kids, pumpkin decorating, a bake sale, a food truck, tours of the facility and a K9 costume competition.

Those interested can also adopt a dog at the event.
