TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries announced an expansion of its Tomball location Feb. 6 to include an urgent care clinic. The clinic, located at 455 School St., Ste. 30, Tomball, is open to all community members on select evenings and weekends. The walk-in clinic addresses symptoms associated with a urinary tract infection, cold, flu, strep, fever, cough, chills and abdominal pain.

“Offering the expanded services in our area is another great way our partners are collaborating to fulfill TOMAGWA’s mission by meeting the growing health care needs of northwest Harris, Montgomery and Waller counties.” CEO Timika Simmons said in a release. “Through partnering with volunteer providers, the cost of offering this service is extremely minimal, allowing 90% of the fees to go directly toward TOMAGWA’s indigent health care services."

Clients are charged $55 per visit for a medical exam, lab draw with immediate results and written prescriptions. Insurance is not accepted. The urgent care clinic is open initially on Mondays from 3-7 p.m. and the fourth Saturday of every month from 8 a.m.-noon. 281-357-0747. www.tomagwa.org
