Michael Hogan will open Boxwood Manor, a wedding and event venue, in fall 2020 on the north side of East Hufsmith Road near the intersection of Lovett Street. The venue is located on nearly 10 acres of land and will feature a 13,000-square-foot event center with an outdoor patio and upstairs and downstairs bars, he said. The ceremony hall will seat up to 300 guests and includes an upstairs balcony. Bride and groom cottages will also be located on the property, spanning 1,200 square feet each. The bride’s cottage will feature hair-styling stations while the groom’s cottage will feature a pool table and Xbox, Hogan said. A website is still under construction. [email protected]
