The expansion of Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital’s primary care clinic located off FM 2920 is set to be complete by this summer, Andrew Cole, a regional administrator with the Houston Methodist physician organization, said in a Jan. 6 interview.

“We have had a few specialists rotate out there but really not a strong presence,” Cole said.

With the expansion, the clinic will grow from around 6,000 square feet to nearly 14,500 square feet, and full-time orthopedics and sports medicine specialists will be added alongside rotating specialists in fields, such as cardiology, oncology and endocrinology.

Imaging services, such as X-rays and mammography, will also be added, Cole said.

“We just want to make it easier for the community [and] get the physicians that they can trust from us out closer to them,” Cole said.
