Rise Dentistry, located at 6519 FM 1488, Ste. 505, opened Nov. 12 in Magnolia. The dentistry offers emergency dental care, cosmetic dentistry, pediatrics, orthodontics, general dentistry, implants and teeth whitening. Dr. Hasaan Sorathia is the head of Rise Dentistry. As a native Houstonian, he said he and his wife chose Magnolia because of its welcoming and friendly spirit.

"We thought it was such a breathe of fresh air to see true Southern hospitality," he said. "You sometimes lose that in a big city. We came here, and we loved the community, so we wanted to be able to make an impact here with our training and skill set."
