HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball announced Angelle Rhemann as its new chief nursing officer in a news release Nov. 28. Effective Nov. 1, Rhemann was promoted to the position after serving as the interim CNO at the hospital.

Robert Marmerstein, chef executive officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball, said in the release that he is excited about the changes Rhemann will bring.

"Over the past year, Angelle has established herself as an excellent partner and advocate for nursing across our hospital," he said. "She is steadfast in her commitment to our patients and colleagues, and I couldn't be more excited to have her take on this elevated role."

Rhemann served as assistant chief nursing officer at the Tomball hospital from April 2021 to 2022, according to the release. In her tenure, she also served as division vice president of nursing practice and operations for HCA Houston Healthcare and as an education resource specialist at Memorial Hermann Katy.

Rhemann replaces former CNO Maggie Yacoubian.

Yacoubian accepted a role as the new CNO at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress, the hospital system previously announced. She served the Tomball community from January 2019 to October 2022, according to a separate Oct. 14 news release.

Jim Brown, chief executive officer of HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress, said in the separate release that Yacoubian's background will be valuable in shaping the hospital's clinical direction.

"Maggie's track record of success in driving nursing engagement and positive patient experience compliments the culture and priorities of HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress," Brown said.
