HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball officially opened a new 24/7 ER on July 25 in Creekside with July 26 set as the first day being open to patients.
HCA Houston celebrated with a ribbon cutting, refreshments and a tour of the ER located at 26306 Kuykendahl Road, Tomball.
Stacy Thornton, HCA Houston senior director of marketing, said the ER has eight exam rooms with one for major trauma, one for procedures, one for women's health emergencies, and one for pediatrics. The ER also has a treasure chest filled with toys to help children feel more comfortable when they are there as a patient.
Creekside staff nurse Vada Dixon said the ER is a full-service emergency room with an X-ray room and imaging room capable of CT scans and ultrasounds.
