Magnolia City Administrator Don Doering is retiring effective Nov. 30, according to a Nov. 18 news release.

Doering first started as the city administrator in January 2020, according to the release. Doering served as the city administrator in Edna, Texas, prior to his position in Magnolia.
“I sincerely thank ... you for all of your help and support during my tenure, I have had the pleasure of being your city administrator,” Doering said in a statement.

“On behalf of myself and the Magnolia City Council we wish Mr. Doering well with his retirement and appreciate his years of dedicated service,” Mayor Matthew Dantzer said via news release.
