In the first of two approvals, Tomball City Council OK’d two no-parking zones in downtown Tomball at its Oct. 16 meeting.

The two new no-parking zones would be located:

• On the west side of South Pine Street from FM 2920 to Market Street
• On the west side of South Cherry Street from FM 2920 to Market Street

Public Works Director Drew Huffman cited traffic and parking concerns as well as turning and visibility when discussing the first no-parking zone on South Pine Street.
