The Texas Renaissance Festival returns for its 2018 season Sept. 29-Nov. 25 at its 55-acre festival grounds at 21778 FM 1774, Todd Mission. The festival season features nine weekends of Renaissance-themed live entertainment, interactive characters, and food and shopping vendors as well as camping opportunities.

TRF welcomed 644,917 guests during 2017—its second highest-attended festival season—facilitated 63 weddings in the festival grounds and hosted 23,000 guests in the campgrounds, according to a statement.

This year TRF debuts The Royal Pass—a season pass offering admission to all 19 event days, preferred parking access and free admission to TRF After Dark each Saturday for guests age 21 and older. Early-bird pricing begins April 16-30 at $199. Prices increase to $299 on May 1-Sept. 30.

"We're thrilled for our loyal patrons to take advantage of such bargains and excited to see everyone for nine themed weekends this year," TRF General Manager Terre Albert said in a statement.

Campground add-on passes are also available to The Royal Pass at a discounted rate. Season passes can be purchased online at www.texrenfest.com/season-pass.

Additionally, children age 12 and under receive free admission every Sunday during the festival.
