Here are six weekend events to attend March 31-April 2 in the Tomball and Magnolia area.

April 1: Hunt for eggs

Spring's BEST Afterschool and Summer Camp will host an Easter Egg Hunt at Burrough's Park. The event will include prizes and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Children age 5 and under will begin the hunt at 9 a.m. followed by ages 6-9 at 10 a.m. and ages 10-12 at 11 a.m.April 1: Race for Easter

Tomball High School cheerleaders present the Cheer Color Dash and Egg Hunt at Tomball Memorial High School. The 1K/5K race includes a race T-shirt, entry to both races, entrance to an egg hunt, a bunny photo op and a photo op with the TMHS cheerleaders. Race-day events include music, raffles and food. Prizes will be awarded for top runners, best-dressed individuals and best-dressed team. Guests can register until 11:59 a.m. April 1.April 1: Engage your kid in learning

The Kiddie Academy of Magnolia is hosting a one-day STEM Adventures event. Parents and children can participate in activities related to science, technology, engineering and math.April 2: Listen to Queen's best hits

Main Street Crossing will host the Queen tribute band Queen Legacy. Guests can listen to the ’70s band's best hits at the matinee or nighttime show.April 2: Dominate a cornhole tournament

Paradigm Brewery will partner with Tomball's Professional Firefighters Association Local 5249 to host its first annual cornhole tournament benefit. The fundraiser will benefit the local fire department, station and personnel. The event will include a DJ, food, a bounce house, a cornhole tournament and drinks. Cornhole teams will receive two free beers for participation.

April 2: Enjoy an artisan market

The Sweet Magnolia Pickins Farmers and Artisan Market includes a variety of vendors from fresh food and homemade creations to customer leather and design shops. On the first Sunday of the month, the event also includes a mobile vet clinic from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
