March 18: Learn about Texas history

Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library is hosting an event centered around Texas history. Attendees will be able to hear from guest speaker Kyle Stallones and discuss the events leading up to Texas becoming independent.

March 18: Enjoy a comedy night

The Bearded Fox is hosting a comedy night with comedians Bob Biggerstaff, Clinton Shorter and Steve Cantwell. Attendees will also be able to enjoy craft beer and food trucks.

March 18: Take an acrylics class

The Ardest Gallery is hosting an acrylics class with artist Lynn Chatman. Attendees will learn about acrylic inks, acrylic paint, stamps and ink pads. All supplies except for watercolor paper are provided.

March 18: Listen to live music

Lone Pint Brewery is welcoming The Beatles tribute band The Fab 5 to its stage this weekend. Attendees will also be able to enjoy food from food trucks and are encouraged to bring chairs.

March 19: Help assemble care packages

The public is invited to come out to Boots For Troops’ office and help assemble 50 care packages. There will also be a DJ, refreshments and a kid’s coloring station, with attendees encouraged to bring extra items for the care packages.
