April 8-9: Attend a spring art show

The Tomball Art League will host a spring open art show at the Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library. April 8-10: Attend a Shakespeare play

Shakespeare in the Shade will host a Shakespeare festival with food trucks and showings of "Twelfth Night" at Spring Creek Park. The festival will be on April 9 from 1-7 p.m., and Shakespeare attire is encouraged. April 9: Visit an open house

Friends of Texas Wildlife will host an open house for the ribbon-cutting of the organization's new raptor house. There will be tours through the 100-foot eagle flight enclosure and the intake center.
